Paper Conservation

The majority of my paper treatments are on archival materials rather than works of art on paper. Therefore, treatment focuses on stabilization, ensuring the legibility of information, and supporting longevity, rather than on pure aesthetics.  My experience in paper conservation includes humidification and flattening, wet and dry mending, wet and dry lining, infilling, inpainting, washing, aqueous and non-aqueous deacidification, mold remediation, silking removal, backing removal, tape removal, stain removal, and light-bleaching,
